Jennifer Parkinson, president of the Grand River Métis Council of the Métis Nation of Ontario will be joining self-identified Wellington Catholic DSB, Upper Grand DSB and Peel DSB families for a Métis Family Night on March 24 at 6 p.m.
Being offered for indigenous families who self-identify, families who have chosen not to self-identify and families who are wondering or have questions about their Indigenous family history, this will be a night of community connections with Parkinson talking about Métis Nations of Ontario Citizenship, Métis Culture and History.
