Synchronous Learning Live Event for Parent and Students

The Wellington Catholic District School Board’s Virtual School will be conducting a Teams Live event for parents/guardians and students who would like more information on synchronous learning and/or who are having issues accessing their classes.

 

The session will cover the following:

  • Using D2L including to access class information, lessons, and submitting work for grading
  • Using Teams to participate in synchronous learning
  • Common issues and how to resolve them
  • Keeping your information private and secure
  • Question and Answer opportunity through a live moderated chat function

 

The session will be help on Wednesday October 14th from 6:30-7:30 pm through MS Teams (you do not need a Microsoft account or Teams installed on your device)

 

In preparation for the meeting, we are recommending that your child(ren) attending virtual school also attend and have the device they are regularly using for virtual school available so that they can try some of the things that will be reviewed.

In order to participate in the Live Event, please follow the link below (it is safe) a few minutes prior to the start of the event.
